The Projector: Oscar's Other 18


Since we've already broken down the "Big Six" in detailed form, let's knock out the other 18 Oscars, the awards most folks outside the film industry have limited interest in. But these "less significant" trophies are precisely how films like: Argo, Lincoln or Life of Pi amass their boasting bounty – "Winner of 10 Oscars" etc. They also provide commercial-hit inclusion as Academy members toss a bone to The Avengers or The Hobbit – heck, Snow White and the Huntsman is technically up for two Oscars. Here are my picks:
